I help organizations turn data into decisions. By combining rigorous program and policy evaluation with practical insight, I identify strengths and gaps and translate findings into policies and systems that drive measurable improvement.
Flagship Impact: Building the Shared Health Employee Wellness Framework
As Provincial Coordinator for the Critical Incident Stress Response project, I led the province-wide needs assessment and completed the design and implementation plan for the Shared Health Employee Wellness Framework, developed to strengthen both individual and organizational resilience and wellness. This work laid the foundation for the Employee Wellness Hub, a sustainable platform that now provides healthcare staff with resources and support before, during, and after high-stress events.
Key achievements include:
- Designing a multi-stage holistic employee wellness framework covering pre-incident education, mid-incident supports, and post-incident recovery
- Developing an implementation and evaluation roadmap with measurable outcomes and continuous quality-improvement cycles
- Engaging senior leaders, HR teams, and front-line staff to ensure the plan reflected operational realities
Advancing Evaluation Capacity
Beyond the Employee Wellness Framework, I have advanced evaluation capacity across Manitoba by:
- Teaching and mentoring senior health-science students while designing and delivering Introduction to Program Evaluation in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba
- Facilitating the Summer Institute in Program Evaluation and equipping professionals to plan, conduct, and apply evaluation findings
- Coordinating the Manitoba Northern and Rural Program Evaluation Institute and guiding students and community partners to design and implement evaluation projects
By bridging research and practice—combining rigorous evaluation methods, stakeholder engagement, and applied leadership—I deliver policies and programs that are measurable, actionable, and built to last.
